There is a huge difference in the techniques adopted in kids soccer drills to train kids in comparison to those who are in high school or college. This is because the former are in the first stage of the learning curve while the latter have a good idea as to what is it that they prefer to do and what not.

However, there are many exercises in soccer drills for kids which facilitate the training of young kids become superstars. Always keep in mind the fact that kids must enjoy playing soccer if their interest is to be retained in the game. The moment this interest is lost, it becomes a burden for them. They get under pressure to quit the sport. Remain patient and just let the kids be themselves.

A majority of kids play soccer because they find it enjoyable while some others join the sport for their parents. Whatever may be the case, incentives don’t encourage them to join the sport. It may take a little while but they would certainly understand the importance of punctuality and teamwork. Here, it is vital that young boys in youth soccer drills are made aware of the new regulations. That's because they may not be aware of them and take time to learn them. Also, it makes sense to involve the kids in decision making process before you introduce anything new. This makes it easy for the kids to accept and follow the required changes.

In the role of a coach, it makes sense that you help the kids develop some good traits as well. For this, you will need to study each kid. You must make it a point to ensure that kids get a lot of time for themselves on the ground and that you admire their skills from time to time. Also, it must be ensured that the boys who fail to abide by the rules are dealt with severely.
This makes the kids feel answerable for what they do.

However, be particular about it. Do not be abusive with the kid. He should not be ignored or made fun of. For example, a healthy penalty would be to keep the kid from being a part of the training sessions.
